We’re so excited you’re interested in joining Ambition Crush.

Crush Club is our leadership program for girls ages 14-18. It’s a space where young women collaborate, organize events for teens and the East Valley community, and develop essential life and leadership skills. By working together to create engaging activities for their peers and families, members of Crush Club gain hands-on experience in teamwork, event planning, and community involvement.

Who can participate?

Our program is for girls ages 14-18. Our LGBTQ+ friends are absolutely welcome. Currently, enrollment is limited to girls who are enrolled in a high school or approved home school program here in Arizona’s East Valley. You must be able to attend at least one in-person club meeting a month. You must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. You do need your parent’s permission to join if you are younger than 18.

Crush Club Q & A

What is Crush Club?

Crush Club is a digital and in-person club membership for girls ages 14-18 who are interested in getting leadership experience by collaborating with peers to organize community and youth events.

Why should I join?

Crush Club provides an invaluable opportunity for young women to build confidence, get involved in their communities, connect with other intelligent, ambitious young women, and learn skills that can empower them to be successful now and for a lifetime.

Who runs Crush Club?

Our Executive Team at Ambition Crush facilitates meetings and curriculum. However, members have a lot of power. Crush Club members vote on organization roles, vote for events, and make decisions on everything related to the events.

What will I learn or gain from participating?

So many things, but here are some:

  • Volunteer Hours: Members earn valuable volunteer hours that count toward high school graduation requirements and college applications.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Participation in Crush Club can lead to personalized letters of recommendation from program leaders, highlighting skills and accomplishments.
  • Leadership Development: Members take on leadership roles, learning to guide teams, delegate tasks, and make decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Regular collaboration helps members improve public speaking, active listening, and negotiation skills.
  • Event Planning Experience: Teens gain practical experience in organizing and executing events, from brainstorming ideas to managing logistics.
  • Networking Opportunities: Members connect with peers, mentors, and community leaders, building relationships that can benefit them in the future.
  • Confidence Building: By taking on challenges and achieving goals, members develop self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
  • Social-Emotional Growth: Activities emphasize empathy, teamwork, and conflict resolution, fostering emotional intelligence.
  • Community Impact: Members make a tangible difference by creating events that bring people together and address local needs.
  • Joy: Members make friends in an environment that’s fun and supportive
How long is the program?

Crush Club is a membership club. You can participate as long as you enjoy being a member and meet the basic requirements. If you are over 18 and in college, please use our contact form for volunteer or internship information. Likewise, if you age out of the program, you’ll have the opportunity to take on leadership roles with Ambition Crush for college credit.
